Do You Want to Become An Elite Shooter?

Coach Alysa has opened up one on one sessions for shooting coaching only.

In my decade+ of experience as a player development coach, this is the one skill in basketball that is most beneficial to have one on one coaching in.

All other skill development is best achieved in a group setting where athletes of similar ability can compete against one another. These opportunities exist in the AKademy, which is a multi-week development experience that combines basketball player development and strength and conditioning.

What To Expect

Breakdown of Shooting Mechanics

Fixing your shot is hard and can be very frustrating to try and figure out on your own. It requires incredible attention to detail, patience, and lots of quality reps. I’ll make sure you know exactly what to fix and why, so when you go out and do your own workouts you’ll be able to self-correct and change your shot for the better permanently.

Improved Overall Understanding of Biomechanics

Knowing how your body works synergistically makes it easier to shoot more efficiently and effectively. Many shooters end up with chronic pain due to poor jumping and landing mechanics. We’ll make sure this isn’t you and I’ll give you a thorough plan of homework for you to do in your own workouts to ensure you’re keeping your body at it’s best.

  • "Alysa has worked with all of our kids, and is not only an amazing coach, but incredible role model, as well. Our middle school aged kids spent a lot of time playing basketball, and Alysa has helped with the shooting details, thereby improving shot accuracy. Our daughter specifically has participated in the "Shooting coaching" 1:1 sessions for almost a year now. Alysa is patient and makes the work fun, while also honing in on small details that make a huge difference! Thanks, Alysa!"

  • "I can’t say enough great things about Alysa! She makes every session fun, and my daughter genuinely looks forward to her shooting sessions. Alysa has such a natural way with kids. You can tell she genuinely cares, and her love for basketball really shows in how she teaches and connects with each player. I highly recommend her to any parent looking for a coach or trainer who truly cares."

Pricing

one on one

Price per session = $80 | Required minimum number of sessions is 3

The benefit of one on one is some really dialed in coaching on fixing mechanics issues specifically. With one player, the hour is used more efficiently for this purpose. The only downfall of one on one is the lack of fun, competitive drills that can be implemented with another

Group of 2

Price per session = $60 each | Required minimum number of sessions is 3

If working on mechanics issues specifically, I highly recommend a few one on one sessions to be able to get maximum attention. Having two athletes in a training session opens up opportunity to introduce additional fun, competitive drills and more game like shooting situations.

Group of 3

Price per session = $50 each | Required minimum number of sessions is 3

If working on mechanics issues specifically, I highly recommend a few one on one sessions to be able to get maximum attention. Having three athletes in a training session opens up opportunity to introduce additional fun, competitive drills and more game like shooting situations. If players are looking to improve their finishing around the rim and overall footwork, this group size is an excellent opportunity for that as well!

Group of 4

Price per session = $40 each | Required minimum number of sessions is 3

While the most affordable option, there should much less expectation of dialing in each players shooting mechanics at a great level. Coach Alysa will be able to provide a high level overview to all of the players with general movement and mechanics corrects, and additional feedback given to each player but it will of course be at a lower frequency. This group size is excellent for getting a high number of quality reps in regards to shooting, finishing, and footwork as well as game like scenarios and fun, competitive drills.
