PREPARE FOR the season
Thursdays at Clark Middle School starting November 6th from 7:30 - 9:00pm for ages 7th - 12th grade. These workouts will consist of an hour and a half of dedicated development time designed to gear up players for the regular season! Workout structure will generally follow:
Athletic Development: athletes will better understand how to warm up, improve body control, and increase speed, agility, and balance.
Non-Contact Fundamental 1 on 1 Offensive and/or Defensive Skills: ball handling, footwork, passing, shooting, finishing, on ball defense
Competitive Application of Skills: advantage/disadvantage 1v1, even playing field 1v1 and other small sided games.
Game IQ: work on understanding team offensive and defensive concepts better. Occasional integration of some “typical” team practice drills.
Mindset: discuss common struggles athletes face and how to overcome them. For example, confidence, composure, adversity, toughness, etc.
Our primary objective is to optimize every minute of the workout and keep things both challenging and fun. Coached by Alysa Horn, who has specialized in player development and has over 10 years of experience. Click here to learn more about Coach Horn.
